It is truly inspiring to witness hope once again shining in people’s eyes and to see long-lost faith rekindled. Those who have endured loss and despair now stand at the threshold of a new life, equipped with new skills and strengthened with determination.

Several months ago, a Community Development NGO, in collaboration with the French organization L’Œuvre d’Orient, launched a welding training course designed for individuals forcibly displaced from Artsakh, as well as for vulnerable residents. Today, months later, the participants are completing the program, taking with them not only valuable technical knowledge but also a renewed belief that they can feel secure in a new environment, become in-demand professionals, and earn a dignified living through their work.

The course was led by licensed and experienced specialist Valer Hovhannisyan, who provided participants with both theoretical foundations and hands-on practical training. Upon completing the program, participants received official certificates and were equipped with the essential tools and equipment needed to take steps toward employment or offer their professional services.

This initiative stands as yet another testament to the vision guiding Community Development NGO and its partners: to support individuals in overcoming hardships and to empower them to build self-reliant, dignified futures.
