The Taratumby Community Center was once again crowded. This time, its walls were adorned with the works of students from the batik workshop—an exquisite fusion of vibrant colors and intricate patterns.
The exhibition featured hand-painted fabric bags, scarves, and T-shirts, each distinguished by traditional motifs, delicate color combinations, and unique designs. The young artists enthusiastically presented their creations, but their greatest joy came when they successfully sold their works. This was a moment of happiness for them and a significant step toward earning independently through art and feeling the value of their talent.
After the event, all participants received certificates. Notably, some of the most talented students have already attracted sponsors willing to support their future endeavors, contributing to their artistic development.
The batik workshop was organized by the Community Development NGO as part of the Improvement of Income Possibilities in Rural Areas program.
