The Community Development NGO conducted a three-day training program on Conflict Transformation and Resolution, which brought together teachers from various communities in Vayots Dzor. The training aimed to equip teachers with effective tools to address conflicts in schools and foster a peaceful and collaborative learning environment.
The seminar was delivered in an interactive format. Teachers analyzed real-life cases from their professional practice, exploring the origins of conflicts, identifying early warning signs, and discussing preventive strategies.
Through practical exercises, participants reflected on their own reactions in tense situations, examining habitual responses, considering areas for change, and learning how to resolve issues calmly and constructively.
The training was led by education expert and Yerevan State University lecturer Serob Khachatryan, who presented both key theoretical concepts and practical recommendations that teachers can immediately apply in their classrooms.
At the end of the three-day program, participants received certificates of completion along with the manual to support the continued development of the skills acquired during the training.
Conflict Transformation and Resolution training was organized within the framework of the Youth for Peace in South Caucasus project in cooperation with the Community Development NGO and the long-term partner Swiss HEKS/EPER organization.
