On November 11, the Community Development Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) celebrated its 30th anniversary, bringing together long-time partners, supporters, and friends for a memorable and symbolic event. The celebration highlighted three decades of dedicated work toward strengthening and empowering communities across Vayots Dzor and neighboring regions.
The event was attended by His Grace Archbishop Abraham Mkrtchyan, Primate of the Vayots Dzor Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church; Vayots Dzor Governor Vahagn Arsenyan; EUMA Support Manager Jens Veer and other Representatives; Deputy Governor Vasil Aslanyan; Deputy Mayor of Yeghegnadzor Vardan Avagyan; as well as representatives of law enforcement bodies, community leaders, partner organizations, distinguished guests, and beneficiaries. We were honored by the presence of the Armenia-based representatives of the French association L’Œuvre d’Orient, Luc and Blandine Bouron, as well as our French friends.
In her opening remarks, Ani Smbatyan, President of the organization, expressed sincere appreciation to all partners and supporters for their enduring cooperation and trust over the years. “Looking back at the past, valuing the present, and moving forward toward the future, Community Development NGO remains committed to its mission, to contribute to the growth and empowerment of communities,” she emphasized.
Congratulatory speeches were delivered by Archbishop Abraham Mkrtchyan, Deputy Governor Vasil Aslanyan, and Vardushik Movsisyan, a long-standing partner in the organization’s educational programs.
