Community Development NGO recently hosted a delegation from the German Renovabis organization

Community Development NGO recently hosted a delegation from the German Renovabis organization, led by Mr. Sebastian Hisch and accompanied by representatives of the press. The visit was a unique summary of the cooperation launched a year ago, through which many families displaced from Artsakh have gained the opportunity to integrate with dignity in a new environment.

Within the framework of the cooperation, Artsakh Armenian children participate in dance and drawing groups together with local peers. This provides an opportunity to fully express themselves in a cultural environment, integrate with peers, create together, and share happy and difficult moments. Three-day integration retreats have also been organized, during which families from Artsakh received individual and group psychological support to help them overcome stress and adapt to their new environments. At the same time, socially vulnerable families were provided with solar water heaters, which have significantly improved living conditions and reduced household expenses.

Members of the delegation visited the clubs, met with the children, visited beneficiary families, got acquainted with their needs and concerns, and also heard words of gratitude. Indeed, the ability to smile through pain is a testament to genuine strength and resilience. The work carried out over the past year has produced tangible results: families’ quality of life has improved, and an atmosphere of mutual trust has deepened. When children dance side by side, when paper fills with color, and when everyday conditions become just a bit better, the pain of loss and displacement seems to soften. This is how a true climate of mutual assistance and trust takes shape. This is how a true climate of mutual assistance and trust takes shape.
We are confident that our joint efforts will reinforce and expand the results already achieved.
