On September 6, the Community Development NGO had the honor of hosting H.E. Olivier Decottignies, Ambassador of the French Republic to Armenia. The visit was organized in connection with the deployment of French civic volunteer Samir Aissou, who, under the auspices of the French Embassy, will contribute to promoting Francophonie in the Vayots Dzor region.

During the meeting, the NGO presented its current programs, notable achievements, and upcoming initiatives. Ambassador Decottignies expressed particular interest in projects focused on community empowerment, youth development, and support for individuals forcibly displaced from Artsakh. The Ambassador commended the NGO’s efforts, underscoring its role in fostering socio-economic development in local communities and enhancing Armenian-French cooperation.

Ambassador Decottignies also held a meeting with the Primate of the Vayots Dzor Diocese, His Grace Archbishop Abraham Mkrtchyan.
