A group of women living in Vayots Dzor now feel more confident about their future, thanks to the skills they have acquired and the support they have received. This positive transformation has become possible through the Beekeeping for Women project implemented by the Community Development NGO with the support of the German organization Brot für die Welt.

Through a series of beekeeping seminars organized within the project framework, participants gained both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, enabling them to engage in beekeeping in their communities, transforming a hobby into a job and a sustainable source of income.

The participants’ enthusiasm was remarkable, especially when, as an encouragement, they received fully equipped beehives complete with supers and frames, anti-varroa treatments, protective gloves, and other necessary tools. These resources significantly ease the work process and enhance the overall efficiency of their beekeeping activities.

Beyond acquiring professional skills, the program helps women rediscover their inner potential. Support is offered in terms of both materials and scientific knowledge, which leads to increased self-confidence and the discovery of new opportunities.
