Environmental education in early childhood plays a crucial role in shaping children’s values, mindsets, and worldview. Emphasizing the importance of fostering environmental awareness, Community Development NGO, with the support of the German organization Brot für die Welt, has established a small ecological corner at Arevik Kindergarten in Getap village within the Improvement of Income Possibilities in Rural Areas program. This space serves as an essential educational platform for exploring and preserving nature.

The opening of the ecological corner was marked by a special interactive lesson, during which the kindergarten’s middle group students presented their imaginative interpretation of the magical world of forests and wildlife.

During the event, Sofya Galstyan, the director of “Arevik” Kindergarten, highlighted that the ecological corner provides an excellent opportunity for thematic lessons. She emphasized that interactive teaching methods and didactic materials help children develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of nature.
