Community Development NGO was once again in a pleasant busyness. This time the NGO was honored with their presence by the French partners, the representatives and back donors of the L’Œuvre d’Orient organization, and the Armenian representatives of the organization, Blandine and Luc Boureau. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the current and completed projects, and to discuss details related to future cooperation.
During the meeting, the guests got acquainted with the activities of Community Development NGO, such as social, integration, and youth programs. Then they met with people forcibly displaced from Artsakh and settled in Vayots Dzor, got acquainted with the existing needs and problems. The beneficiates thanked to the representatives of L’Œuvre d’Orient organization and “Community Development” NGO for the provided psychological and social support.
The head of the Vayots Dzor Diocese Archbishop Abraham Mkrtchyan was present at the meeting, who in his speech emphasized the importance of Armenian-French solidarity and lifelong friendship, particularly emphasizing the efforts aimed at promoting youth networks.
The L’Œuvre d’Orient organization supported, “Community Development” NGO conducted intensive integration/rehabilitation, confectionery, and cooking courses with the aim of restoring the psychological and physical health of forcibly displaced people, contributing to the formation and development of vocational skills.
“Community Development” NGO emphasizes such visits, which contribute to close and effective partnership relations.
