In today’s world, teachers play a crucial role in building positive relationships and helping students resolve conflicts within educational institutions. Recently, Community Development NGO organized a Conflict Transformation and Resolution training, equipping teachers with essential conflict-management skills.
From October 25-27, Community Development NGO held an interactive, three-day workshop on Conflict Transformation and Resolution, attended by school teachers from different schools of Vayots Dzor marz. The program combined theory with practical exercises, covering topics like managing parent-teacher-student relationships, understanding conflict causes in adolescence, and strategies for conflict resolution.
This training aimed to raise awareness on the topic empowering them to bring these values into their schools and communities.
Upon completion, teachers received certificates and a Conflict Transformation and Resolution manual to support them in applying these principles in their schools.
The training was conducted by Serob Khachatryan, an expert in the field of education, YSU lecturer.
Conflict Transformation and Resolution training was organized within the framework of the Youth for Peace in South Caucasus project in cooperation with the Community Development NGO and the long-term partner Swiss HEKS/EPER organization.
