For years, standing by the side of families in need, the Community Development NGO has contributed to improving livelihoods through various collaborations and projects.
Recognizing the existing challenges and labor market demands, the Community Development NGO, in collaboration with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), has launched a new project in Jermuk City aimed at developing artisanal skills through embroidery and macrame workshops. Prior to the project’s launch, the Community Development NGO provided all necessary materials to the participants. Both displaced women from Artsakh/Nagorno-Karabakh and local women are involved in these workshops.
The project aims not only to equip participants with professional skills but also to help them make their products market-ready, develop branding, and participate in various exhibitions.
The Community Development NGO is hopeful that the knowledge gained through these workshops will bring transformative changes to the lives of the project participants.
The project is realized within the framework of the “Economic and Social Participation of Vulnerable Displaced and Local Population in the South Caucasus” (EPIC) programme implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH with the support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
