With support from German Bread for the World, the Community Development NGO has successfully conducted another series of professional courses designed to assist displaced people from Ukraine and other vulnerable groups residing in the Vayots Dzor Province.
This latest series included a career planning course, as well as training in sewing and professional make-up.
The career planning segment was led by Harutyun Harutyunyan, an AUA lecturer and independent expert with the Community Development NGO, who introduced participants to essential career planning principles and tools.
In the sewing training, experienced tailor Elya Stepanyan shared her expertise with participants, covering various sewing techniques and fabric types. Practical sessions included making cooking hats and eco bags.
The make-up course, conducted by Svetlana Karapetyan, from Ukraine focused on daily, wedding, and evening make-up techniques, as well as personal and professional hygiene practices.
The primary goal of these projects is to equip participants with new skills for self-employment and sustainable income generation, thereby enhancing their overall quality of life.
