On March 12, an event celebrating the successful installation of a solar photovoltaic station was held at the Yeghegnadzor Regional Museum. The occasion was graced by the presence of Archbishop Abraham Mkrtchyan, primate of the Vayots Dzor Diocese, Karine Stepanyan, the Museum’s director, Aghas Hovhannisyan and Husik Harutyunyan, representatives of the Vayots Dzor regional administration, staff of the Syunik-Development NGO and the Museum.
Expressing gratitude, the Museum director emphasized the importance of harnessing solar energy through the installed photovoltaic station. Archbishop Abraham Mkrtchyan underscored the significance of such sustainable projects, particularly in border settlements.
Following the formal proceedings, attendees were invited to embark on a guided tour of the Museum, delving into its diverse and captivating collections.
It’s worth mentioning that this project was made possible through the enduring support of the NGO’s partner, the German Bread for the World organization, demonstrating their commitment to sustainable development.
