On July 29, within the framework of the Beekeeping for Women project the first training was implemented in Gitelik University of Yeghegnadzor town.
23 women from the Vayots Dzor Province, who are passionate about Beekeeping and have a beginner or advanced level of knowledge, took part in the seminar.
During the first day of training, they got acquainted with the special nature of the bee family and the division of tasks for the worker bees. Additionally, there was an exhibition of apiary tools.
It should be noted that this new project is intended for those women who want to know more scientific insights with regard to bees and who are open to innovative ideas about beekeeping.
The program envisages:
️- Preparation phase with 6 training courses from July 2023 to December 2023.
️- Presentation of innovative bee hives.
️- Practice phase from March 2024.
The project is implemented in cooperation with our long-term partner German Bread for the World organization.
