Within the framework of the Integration of Socially Vulnerable Groups to the Labor Market in  Southern Armenia project Syunik-Development NGO organized another integration course. More than 16 cooks  from Vayots Dzor, Syunik and Gegharkunik regions participated in 5-day theoretical and practical training. The training was attended by  future cooks of Unicus Child Development Center based in Siranuysh camp of Yeghegis community.
The training aimed at equipping future cooks with the culinary skills and knowledge. During the first stage of the training, participants learned about origins of the national cuisine, basics of cooking, heat treatment methods, recognition of spices and order of use, as well as preparation of appetizers and control of processes․ Then, according to their professional abilities and preferences, beneficiaries updated their CVs and create their individual career development plans.
The training was conducted by Sedrak Mamulyan, Chairman of Development and Preservation of Armenian Culinary Traditions NGO and Haykuhi Gevorgyan, career planning and development trainer.
At the end of the training, participants received certificates from the Ararat Cuisine educational center.
