With the support of the Canadian Atken Armenian Foundation, Syunik-Development NGO launched the Beekeeping Development project in the Vayots Dzor region in 2016. In 2019 the honey produced by the beneficiaries was branded with the support of the German Brot für die Welt organization and the Atken Armenian Foundation and was presented during national expos.
